MX NewsSeven races, seven wins! This goes for our guest from Botswana, the pro Ross Branch. Ross already rode in Germany for renowned racing teams such as Kawasaki Elf Team Pfeil, Bodo Schmidt-KTM and Sturm Racing Team. His ever success in Namibia is therefore predictable. He likes the Namibian racing tracks and the professionally organised events. Of course he is keen on the popular after-parties as well! Therefore he takes on the burden of travelling to and fro in order to participate in every single Namibian MX-race. His latest victory wasn't unexpected, but apart from that, the racing day held a couple of surprises in store. And all that in front of the eyes of the representatives of First National Bank, the generous sponsor!

MX NewsThe young man from Botswana on his Kawasaki has nothing to fear: 5 races - 5 victories! However, the competition in the Open/125cc Class is getting tougher. Rainer Becker on a strong Yamaha, put some pressure on him during the last race 4 weeks ago. And another rider has regained his strength, Brannigan "Animal" Wise has recovered from long-term injuries and was able to finish 3rd in the Wesbank King of the Dirt. The sponsor Wesbank (an affiliate of First National Bank of Namibia) should be pleased, as this constellation guarantees exciting races on the 16th of June at the Gallina Moto Cross Park.

MX News<DIV class=news>Gobabis was the scene of the 4. Moto Cross Championships race and so far it was without exagerating, the highlight of the season. Wikus Engelbrecht, the driving force behind this spectacle in Gobabis, has done a great job organising this event together with his men. Everything was just perfect! The track was exceptional and the 30-metre jump just in front of the beer-tent was the attraction. A big praise and thanks goes to Tobie Barlow.

MX NewsBlood, sweat & tears, tears of joy and frustration ... all this we could witness during the 2nd racing day of the Air Namibia Inter-Series 2006. The organiser was able to smile again for the first time since 2003, since more than 2000 spectators lined the race track on Gallina. Apart from the international MX-races, an extensive supporting programme was offered with exciting races in the Winston Pit-Bike Clash, Aerobatics by the Freestylers in the Red Bull X-Fighters Show Namibia, as well as the big conclusion of the day: the Tafel Lager Battle of the Bands, which was very well received by the youngsters. There was dancing, singing and a great atmosphere.

MX News
Tommy Gous reaffirmed his position as Namibia’s top motocross rider, when he won the Open Class, thereby beating one of Namibia’s finest riders, Ronnie Adams. The crowd at Gobabis was very pleased with the performance and ongoing dice between those two protagonists.
More then 60 riders turned up from all parts of Namibia to take part in this well organised event, provided some hair-raising stunts, including quite a few riders biting the dust. But there was no work for the paramedics from E-MED.

Ronnie Adams wins WESBANK-Trophy

MX NewsDuring the "WESBANK Moto Cross Challenge" Ronnie Adams proved, that he is presently in top form. And this is expected of him, as he is going to represent Namibia at the Grand Prix in Sun-City / South Africa. Ronnie won all three heats in the Open-Class as well as 3 heats in the Quad-A-Class. This is an extraordinary achievement! Many spectators came to the Gallina Moto Cross Park as the weather was just perfect for a racing day. Unfortunately, riders were dwindling in some of the classes, which was especially apparent in the Clubmen's Class. The situation was made even more tragic by the fact that 3 riders are in Germany at the moment, Ingo Waldschmidt's occupation made him indispensable, and Wolfgang Rohe' Honda had technical problems.
